Finding Mary in the Baby in My Arms

On my Mary Moment segment on this week's Catholic Moments, I share about how my newest nephew inspired me last week to think about Mary in a new way.

As the oldest of the five kids in my family, I’m new to the business of being an aunt. My husband was an old pro at uncle-ing by the time we met, courted, and married, so I’ve been an aunt for a number of years. But it’s not the same. Not at all.

Holding my brother’s child -- my nephew -- I found that, despite my inclinations, I am a baby person. I soothe him, I admire him, I all but drool on him. How did this happen?

Well, you can find out, and you can also enjoy the first of Deacon Tom's monthly reflections on the Year of the Priest and Lisa's interview with Woodeene Koenig-Bricker, in Catholic Moments 112.
